How a Spanish Website Helps Your SEO

Google ranks pages, not businesses. A Spanish version gives you a whole new set of pages to be found with.

More Pages for Google to Rank

Every page on your site gets a Spanish twin with its own web address. That is a whole new set of pages that can show up in Spanish searches.

Show Up for Spanish Searches

Google tries to show results in the searcher’s language. Spanish pages give you a better chance to appear when someone searches “electricista cerca de mí”.

Often Fewer Local Competitors

In many towns, few local businesses have a real Spanish website. On our call, we look at the Spanish search results for your area together.

Customers Trust You Sooner

People feel more comfortable calling a business that explains its services in the language they speak at home.

Built the Way Google Recommends

Separate /es/ web addresses, Spanish page titles and descriptions, hreflang tags, and both languages in your sitemap.

Mobile-Friendly in Both Languages

Your new site works on any phone, in English and Spanish, with a language menu your visitors can switch in one tap.

Not All Translations Help Your SEO

A translate button is handy for visitors, but it will not bring you search traffic. Here is the difference.

A translate button

Invisible to search engines

Translates in the visitor’s browser after the page loads, so there are no Spanish pages for Google to index

No Spanish web addresses, page titles or search descriptions

Visitors have to find the button before they can read anything

Machine wording that nobody has reviewed or corrected

A real Spanish website

Spanish pages Google can find

Every page gets its own Spanish address, like yoursite.com/es/services, that Google can index

Spanish page titles and descriptions, so your Google listing reads in Spanish too

Hreflang tags that tell Google which language to show each searcher

Menus, buttons and footer translated too, and every page checked before launch

Proof From Our Own Website

We Did It for Our Own Website First

When someone in Texarkana searches Google in Spanish for “diseño de páginas web texarkana”, WebProJoe is the first business listed and our Spanish home page is the first web result. It is built the same way we will build yours: real Spanish pages with their own web addresses, Spanish page titles and descriptions, and hreflang tags.

How it works

Three Steps to a Bilingual Website

You do not need to speak Spanish or write anything new. We start from the website you already have.

1

Choose your plan

Pick the website plan that fits your business and sign up online. Most customers start with our Core plan. If you have any questions, book a call or contact us and we can talk you through the right plan for your business.

2

Confirm your Spanish version

During onboarding, we confirm whether you’d like the free Spanish version of your website. Just say yes. There is no extra cost and nothing new for you to write, because we translate the content already on your website for you.

3

We redesign and translate

We rebuild your website with a modern, mobile-friendly design and translate every page into Spanish, including menus, page titles and search descriptions. Then we set up Spanish web addresses and hreflang tags so Google can find both versions.

The Spanish translation is included at no extra charge on every plan.
